Disclosure: I’m Hasi, and I bought Toodledo in 2024. So this is not an unbiased review. But after 30 straight days running my actual workload through it, I want to share what works, what doesn’t, and what’s coming.
What Works
Saved searches as a sidebar dashboard. Configurable Hotlist as a daily command center. Native GTD fields. The 20-year heritage shows up as depth — every workflow I tried to build, the field was already there.
What Shows Its Age
The interface is functional but not modern. Mobile is solid but not delightful. The settings UI assumes you know what you’re doing.
What’s Coming
Interface refresh in progress (you’ll see it land later in 2026). Chrome extension MVP for Claude/ChatGPT/Gemini integration is in beta. New mobile work scheduled. The substance stays. The presentation is getting an honest update.
Bottom Line
If you want pretty, you have lots of options. If you want a serious task system that has been refined for 20 years and is actively getting better, Toodledo earns its place. Tell me what you’d want next in the forums.
